1. Acknowledgment of Terms and Conditions
By booking a tour with Evo Moto Adventures (EMA), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.
2. Booking and Payment
- Upon booking, EMA will issue an invoice for the full cost of the tour.
- Bookings made within 30 days of the tour commencement must be paid in full. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received in full as cleared funds.
- Bookings made more than 30 days in advance require a30% deposit to confirm your place. Thebalance is due no later than 28 days before the tour start date. If full payment is not received by this deadline, EMA reserves the right to cancel your booking and apply applicable cancellation fees.
3. Tour Inclusions and Exclusions
Inclusions
- Motorcycle hire (helmet included)
- Fuel and maintenance during the tour
- Accommodation (twin-share) during riding days
- Daily breakfast and lunch
- Drinks and refreshments during stops
- Touring bag with waterproof bag, rack, straps, and locks
- Itinerary and maps
- All listed activities, entrance fees, tolls, and parking fees
Exclusions
- International and domestic airfares
- Travel insurance
- Personal expenses
- Accommodation before and after tour dates (unless otherwise stated)
- Dinners (except where provided in remote locations)
- Luggage support vehicle (available for large groups at an extra cost)
4. Participant Requirements
To join a tour, you must provide and bring the following:
- ValidInternational Driving Permit (IDP) or motorcycle license
- Personal travel insurance (mandatory)
- Appropriate motorcycle riding gear (helmet, gloves, jacket, boots, goggles, rain gear)
- Valid passport and visa (if applicable)
- Sunscreen, insect repellent, earplugs, and any personal medication
- Any required vaccinations or medical documents
5. Cancellations
- Ifyou cancel more than 14 days before the tour start date,50% of the tour cost will be forfeited.
- Ifyou cancel within 14 days of the tour start date,100% of the tour cost will be forfeited.
- IfEMA cancels the tour, afull refund of all payments received will be issued.
- In the event of cancellations due tounforeseen circumstances (e.g. war, natural disasters, terrorism, civil unrest, weather, industrial action, or political disruption), EMA reserves the right to retain10% of the tour cost to cover administrative expenses.
6. Responsibilities
Our Responsibilities
- EMA will deliver the tour as described, subject to these terms and conditions.
- EMA may adjust the itinerary, routes, or accommodation due to weather, availability, safety, or other factors.
- EMA reserves the right to contract or subcontract parts of the tour. Notice will be provided of any such arrangement.
- EMA is not liable for the actions of other participants, accidents, injury, property damage, or loss during the tour. Please refer to the indemnity section below.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Disclose any medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or dietary requirements before the tour.
- Warrant that you are an experienced and competent motorcycle rider.
- Obtain and maintain comprehensive travel insurance. If you choose not to, you agree to indemnify EMA from all related liabilities.
- Secure your motorcycle when unattended.
- Immediately rectify or pay for any damages you cause to the motorcycle, other vehicles, or accommodation.
- Follow all reasonable instructions from the tour guide without question.
- Comply with all local laws and regulations, including road and licensing laws.
- Be solely responsible for your personal belongings.
- Acknowledge the inherent risks involved in adventure touring, particularly in remote or undeveloped regions.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
In an emergency, you authorise EMA or its representatives to arrange medical treatment. You agree to bear the full cost of such treatment.
7. Warranties, Indemnity, and Release
By booking a tour with EMA, you:
- Warrant that you meet all responsibilities listed above.
- Warrant that you hold a valid international motorcycle permit.
- Confirm that you have valid travel insurance or have knowingly chosen to travel without it and accept all associated risks.
You agree toindemnify EMA (including its directors, staff, agents, contractors, and affiliates) from any liability, injury, illness, loss, damage, or claim arising from your participation in the tour. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property (including the motorcycle), injury to yourself or others, and third-party claims.
In consideration for participating in the tour, yourelease EMA and its affiliates from all liabilities, actions, claims, or demands arising from your involvement in the tour.
